Enhanced Ide
For my Maddog external Hard Disk enclosure what should my Hard drive jumper be set for?
My Maddog External Usb hard Drive Enclosure is recognized by XP, and I get the device installed messages, but I still can not see the hard drive on the My Computer list. Any ideas? The driver CD that came with the enclosure is for Win98 only.
My hard drive is a WD2500 Enhanced IDE 250Gb.
Currently I have tried the Slave and Master jumper settings so far and it still is not being recognized by XP.
If it’s what I’m thinking, you can’t see the drive in Disk Management. Read this post on my technology blog and follow the DiskPart instructions.
