Maxtor 200gb usb hdd failure who can remove photos from hdd?

Hi can anyone recomend someone that can recover photos and music from a failed maxtor hdd. theese pics are very important to us. I live in central NJ and would love if someone can lead me in the right direction.

depends on how bad the failure

there are companies that can recover a lot of info by accessing the drive directly on a special controller with special software & hardware,

but they charge a whole lot of money
and they usually charge by the hour
and the bigger the failure the more it costs to get less data.
